Will Smith is a member of Winstead's Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. Will’s practice focuses on real estate, with an emphasis on the planning, development, risk management, administration and marketing of single-family, townhome, condominium, commercial, and mixed-use projects, as well as resorts, clubs, and fractional ownership structures. Will also works with developers and builders on Interstate Land Sales Act (ILSA) compliance and registration and compliance with secondary mortgage market (FHA, VA, FNMA, etc.) requirements.
Will has experience in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting acquisition and disposition contracts, easements, development and license agreements. Will also represents build-for-rent and single-family rental owners and in planning for accommodating build-for-rent and single-family rental projects within master-planned communities. Will clerked for the Honorable Justice Debra Lehrmann of the Texas Supreme Court. Prior to practicing law, Will worked as an analyst for a commercial real estate firm, focusing on multi-family property performance and acquisition due diligence.

Suitcasing Policy Our exhibitors and event sponsors spend a lot of money to participate in the Conference & Expo, educational programming, and social events. CAI Austin has a no-tolerance policy regarding suitcasing, which describes the practice of non-exhibiting/sponsoring companies or individuals soliciting sales or sales leads on the Conference & Expo floor or at a CAI Austin event, in any session or networking reception, or anywhere within the event venue during a CAI Austin event. Interpretation of what constitutes suitcasing is at the sole discretion of CAI‘s Board of Directors. Violators of these policies will be removed from the event and risk being prohibited from exhibiting at a future Tradeshow or attending a future event. ALL VENDORS IN ATTENDANCE, INCLUDING EVENT SPONSORS, ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE AN EXHIBIT BOOTH TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE & EXPO!

Exhibit Booth Guidelines
Exhibit booths include a 6' table and two chairs. Pipe and drapes will be provided.
Tables must be covered.
All boxes, wires, storage materials, etc. must be kept out of sight. It is the responsibility of exhibitors to provide drapes if necessary to cover these items.
Any raffles, drawing, contests, promotional giveaways or similar activity at the table area of the exhibitor must be held in compliance with local and state governing laws. Any promotional prizes and giveaways must be drawn at the end of the show. The winner name’s address, email, and phone number must be given to CAI Austin at the conclusion of the show.
Set Up and Take Down
Exhibitors can set up as early as 8:00 am the day of the Conference & Expo.
Cleaning
Exhibitors will be responsible for keeping their table areas clean. They are responsible for removal of all materials and trash at the end of the Conference & Expo.
Credentials
Please pick up exhibitors badges from exhibitor registration table when you arrive to set-up.
Four (4) badges will be issued per exhibit booth registration.
Exhibitor badges are to be used/worn ONLY by exhibitors working in the booth.
Fire and Building Regulations
Exhibits are not allowed to block or obstruct any firefighting equipment or emergency exits. No open flames or candles.
Damage to Facilities
Exhibitors will be charged for any and all building damage caused by exhibitor, to include exhibit personnel.
Staffing of Exhibit
Every exhibitor is responsible for having his/her display staffed at all times. We suggest a member of your staff be present at your display area during move-out.
Security
CAI Austin assumes no responsibility for exhibitor’s property before, during or after the Conference & Expo.
Signs
Exhibitor may not affix signs to any walls. No handwritten signs are allowed/used, only professional signs will be allowed for display.

CAI is hosting our fourth annual High-Rise Managers Workshop exclusively for community managers and management companies specializing in high-rise communities. This year we will be in Houston!
What is the Workshop?
The workshop is an immersive experience where participants have the opportunity to tour high-rise buildings - from roofs to parking lots - and everything in between. This program is intended to include opportunities for participants to network with their industry peers and business partners, share best practices, problem solve, and benefit from expert presentations on a variety of topics specifically for the high-rise manager.
The Workshop will be a walking/touring workshop. Be sure to bring your walking shoes and umbrellas. If anyone requires special accommodations, please reach out to Carly Reid at creid@caionline.org.
