Please join us for our annual Manager's Workshop. This event provides a half-day of education to our community managers and management company members and their employees. This annual event is CAI Austin's Gift to our Community Managers. All you need to invest is your time. Attendance to this special event is reserved for managers and management company employees only. Participation in this event is pending approval of 3 CEU hours.
Registration includes a family style lunch. Manager members attend free; non-member managers are $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Business Partners must sponsor to attend.
The workshop consists of four topics:
Topic 1: Navigating the Transition from Developer to Resident Control
A focused discussion on the transition from developer to resident control, featuring legal insights and leadership perspectives from an attorney and management firm leaders.
Stay up to date on critical legislative changes with this must-know checklist. An attorney will review recent laws, emerging issues, and commonly missed requirements that managers may need to address now.
Topic 3: Pool Priorities: Maintenance, Construction & Permitting
An overview of pool priorities, including maintenance, construction, permitting, and other essential considerations.
Topic 4: Winterization Woes: Community Systems & Seasonal Protection
A guide to navigating winterization woes—from landscaping and irrigation to pools and FLS sprinkler systems. This session will outline key risks, preventive measures, and best practices to help managers safeguard their communities.
