Billy Johnson is the principal consultant with J-2 Security Services, a security management firm based in Central Texas. Billy is a retired supervisor with the United States Marshals and now works as an independent security consultant assisting property owners and managers in securing their facilities, operations and people across the country. He is board certified in Physical Security and a certified instructor in Crime Prevention by Design. Billy has taught security processes to our allies overseas on behalf of the U.S. State Department and Infrastructure Security classes in many states as an adjunct instructor for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. He is a member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants, ASIS International, and InfraGard (an intelligence sharing organization between private businesses and the FBI).
Along with providing security management services, Billy also works as a negligent security/premises liability expert, performing forensic security assessments on behalf of law firms in civil litigation. He is here today to share some insights on security in today’s environment and especially in the Austin area.
